Isabel Briggs Myers, a researcher and practitioner of Jung’s theory, proposed to see the judging-perceiving relationship as a fourth dichotomy influencing personality type.. They are extroverted, idealistic, charismatic, outspoken, highly principled and ethical, and usually know how to connect!. INFJ's are very empathetic and focused on external feeling, introspective rationalization does not happen right what form their bases '' rational '' and shit limited by Ni mystic. Plus all something like this is gonna do is make people whine more. Actually, the restaurant I had in mind was "Socioexotica," a lush construction which has in it many hovering moths and dragonflies. But on a day to day level I would surely say INFP is more rational. It is hard to compare, however. INFJs have the way to make simple things sound more complicated (makes sense to us, doesn't make sense to others, though). INTPs are well known for their brilliant theories and unrelenting logic, which makes sense since they are arguably the most logical minded of all the personality types.. INFP's are more rational because INFPs has Ti-ish, and when they are in contact with the inferior function [Te] act like a chaotic INTJ. The only difference between two types are the order of T functions. It's asymmetrical *and* the Thinking function is already prioritized pretty low in both types.
. So this is a bit of a redundant question in my opinion. I'm sorry @butterfly if that offended you. This argument is entirely subjective since INFPs and INFJs all consist of individuals who are going to hold varying levels of intelligence and "rationality". They are more able to apply their introverted thinking to accomplish a thinking goal than an INFP. What is the best option for the MBTI type of INFJ vs INFP? What about enneagram and other personality types?. If you gave an INFJ the opportunity to complete a mathematical proof, or write a book about logic, I think it would come together in a more well-rounded form than an INFPs attempt to use Te to measure certain observable phenomena around him/her. INFP, on the other hand, use Fi+Ne+Si to form a meticulous web of understanding of what they've experienced, and they have Te, so they have a way of explaining things they've experienced firsthand in the more logical and simple way. The examples of INFJs using good Ti are too hard to counter. I think these kind of comparisons are semi-upsetting, but one often missed component of INFJs is that they tend to be a bit "out there" (Ni+Fe). I would argue that the enneagram type is very important here, as it might determine how much each member of these types is using his/her thinking function. INFPs have inferior Te, so they just prefer to put their personal emotions first, not that they can't understand what's beyond their own feelings. I think it's partly because INFJ have polar Te, so their way of managing thoughts, like going from point A>B>C are a struggle. Especially since, generally, Introverted Intuitives tend to be the most intelligent. This entire argument is BS anyways since "rationality" doesn't actually mean that thinkers are more rational, and "feelers" don't always act/think with their feels. On the other hand INFJs will usually be more diligent at academics and they are in a greater degree able to detach emotionally from logic and do it like a game, similar to NTs. Neither pairing necessarily implies "rational". In a way, this kind of big picture thing is limited in its own way. Differences aren't huge to be honest. INFPs are generally a lot more reasonable and grounded unless you're hitting very close to their heart. Quiet, reflective, and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Well-developed value system, which they strive to live in accordance with.. I have seldom heard of an INFP 5w4, while there are quite a few INFJ 5w4s using a high degree of well developed Ti.
