Nagito Komaeda MBTI personality type cover chart

Stereotypical unhealthy INFJ with martyr complex. The only thing i'm unsure of is. After watching the anime and looking back on his behaviour in the games, I agree that he is an ENFP, 4w3. They tend to bite. It felt like a treason in his eyes, and he started to adopt a very pessimistic point of view, where hope did not really exist. If you enjoyed this entry, find out about the personality types of Super Danganronpa 2 characters list.. " Talk is freaking out the other Ultimates. I sorta think it would be cool if Komaedawas an xNFJ just to highlight how he's kind of a perverted, distorted mirror image of Naegi and Naegi's ideology.

. However, it's highly likely that he's also an unhealthy version of his type, because it's rare for healthy types to behave the way he does, and backing this view up with all the trauma he had to go through, it's no wonder he's unhealthy. His tertiary Ti made him realize that things were not going according to plan, so might as well drop it all and move on to plan B. that's why INFJ are known as the most extroverted introverts. Anyways, I would like to read on your explanations for your votes. I don't believe his reactions in chapter 4 and onwards to be some kind of childish inferior Te burst, because it doesn't mean anything to me. He's not controlling or organized in how he presents himself. This is why he is able to stay optimistic even in the face of the worst of situations, because he believes that the more painful the situation is, the better the future will be. I really can´t see Nagito as an ESTJ. Also one thing I notice is that Komaeda is completely unaware of how is whole "HOPE. He's very outward in his attitude overall and I don't really see him showing any actual social passiveness when he's given the opportunity. The things Komaeda is willing to do - the people he's willing to hurt - to project his internalized and idealized value system upon the world screams Fi to me. During the free time events, I think it's more prominent. but he doesn't really care whther it's the individual or the group; he fights for who he thinks has the stronger hope. To me he seems like a pretty obvious xNFP. This personality type is highly individualistic and Champions strive toward creating their own methods, looks, actions, habits, and ideas!. Here you can explore of famous people and fictional characters.. He has a strict set of internalized ethics and values, but how this manifests is often completely unpredictable. The second letter in the personality type acronym corresponds to the preference within the sensing-intuition dimension: “S” stands for sensing and “N” stands for intuition.. All he cared about was how hope manifested in each of the individuals. F file, that he started to lose sight of the possibility of the students being embodiments of hope, because he realized that it was impossible for Hope to breed after looking at the truth of the situation. I don't see much Ti in him either, but I remember his reactions in Chapter 4 (and onwards) seemed more like a burst of underdeveloped, lower Te. Too be honest, I also see him as ENFP. yeah, thats exactly what i was thinking when i saw people arguing for INFP. I'm sure we might experience komaeda's true personality in the anime. Additionally, his values are unique to him, that's why everyone thinks he's crazy because of them. I might be looking too far into it, but there's definitely a difference between how he narrates compared to both Hajime and Makoto (who I do think is still more extraverted than introverted). The only thing to be done was to destroy despair, and that's what he tried to do. It was fun being able to discuss this with all of you. Following and adopting society's views on one's personal values is a clear Fe trait, something that an Fi user would not do naturally, (considering how Fi users constantly check in on their own emotions to see if the situation/actions before them flow with their own original values). He's a very laid back and easy going guy unless you challenge him on his internalized value system. Komaeda's preference of Fe to Fi can be seen in how he looks at and follows society's definition of hope, instead of him diving full-on deep into his own idealism. so that doesnt really matter in this argument. I think he has an introverted side, but it's hard seeing him as an actual introvert. For example he helped Teruteru and tried to make him win the trial, which would've lead to the rest of the group dying, just because he was fascinated by Teruteru's dreams and the hope he could see his mother again and become a famous chef. Too be honest, I also see him as ENFP. If you remember the Strawberry House sequence, you may remember how Nagito seemed to be "detached" from his thoughts in that he didn't really contemplate anything in his head at all preemptively before speaking; it often felt like his spoken words were non-sequiturs following up his previous thoughts. He's like this by design -- he leaves so much tochance andluck andbelief because of his weirdo super luck powers and unshakeable faith in "HOPE". it's clearly Ni. Although he can calculate plans well, he's all over the place with his schemes and is pretty much the very definition of chaos. It's also what makes him a great antagonist. He didn't care about the group or their values at all. His Fi is incredible. He's a Wild Card. Traditional function stacks are not always very accurate though you're right. Instead of this, he is accustomed to stick to values that he had learnt and observed from outer stimuli (Fe), and not values that come from him himself(Fi), hence his conclusion that "unsuccessful, talentless people are worthless". "Society's definition of hope" doesn't seem matter to him at all. It was only after reading the F. i actually think he uses both, as do I as an INFJ. He seemed to take the initiative to approach Izuru and didn't mind talking about his hatred for junko. It's what happens when Fi types are put under serious stress. Free in-depth and practical information on the 16 personality types, including careers and relationships.. He cares less about helping others and achieving harmony (although at times his values can cause him to want to help others) and more about what he personally thinks is right. I'm not too confident but I guess he would be xNxP. I just see an INFJ in his position being a lot more organized, structured, less spontaneous/random/obnoxious, and willing to listen to others' opinions rather than only following his own twisted moral compass time and time again. His flexibility is part of his genius. Clearly Fi > Fe.

. Oh gosh, sorry if my points are all over the place but I guess I could call it a summary[SPOILERS]******. Since ENFP is seen as the "introverted-extroverts" of the mbti, many of the irl ENFPs online (as i've read) have experienced a sudden need for a temporary break from the outside world to process thoughts to themselves before sprinting back to make an impression on the world again. It might actually be a strange hint that he speaks before he thinks. Compare him to Kokichi (ENTP) in Danganronpa v3 and it should be clear that their similarities lie in their strong Ne. In this site you can find out which of the 16 types this character 'Nagito Komaeda' belongs to!. I think INFP makes a bit more sense functions-wise, but I know I can't entirely ignore the letters. And readily too. in fact, i typically use traditional mbti and go by the letters, but komaeda is a very complex character. I'm sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough, haha. Why all these INFP votes. They tend to bite. and he seems to be a major Ni user as well. I really can't imagine the dude as an INFP. Probably one of the most deliciously broken ENFP I've ever seen in fiction. During the free time events, I think it's more prominent. It's what happens when Fi types are put under serious stress. besides, his feeling function, whether it be introverted or extroverted, is not his dominant function. I'm not sure I fully understand the INFJ angle. He can survive time alone, but he's overall initiative with his interactions in a way where you can extrapolate that his outlook isn't actually inward at all. You are in the best place to test MBTI and learn what type Nagito Komaeda likely is!. For example, the beginning of chapter 2 and he's whole speech. His whole ideology is Fe based and his goal is very global. By doing this, he was able to avoid falling into despair despite all of the bad things happening to him. He is quick on his feet and highly emotionally reactive to a world that sometimes seems hostile to his intensely felt and personalized worldview. (Which is in this case, the singular grand vision that hope will save everyone if they believe in it, and he will be the one to ignite this hope in them. his ideology and the way in which he believes things are very obviously of an unhealthy Fe user. Killmoon's analysis was interesting to read, but I still believe he's an NFP. plus, his obvious preference is for Ni, which he consistently displays, especially right before he "died" in the game. He only starts to even vaguely resemble a J-type the more distance we get from how heactually operates (there's much more distance between Komaru and Komaeda in UDG than there is between him and Hajime in SDR2). No he doesn't. what are with those votes guys he's a fcking obvious ENFP tbh, i think it's a Fe-induced facade that makes him appear extroverted. Fi is primarily concerned about its own emotional standards and emotionally derived values, sticking to it and checking in on themselves to ensure that none of these personal values are affected by outer factors. I haven't seen the OVA so maybe I'm missing something, but in the game I think he's INFP. Due to his traumatic past and messed up luck cycle, it is explanatory that he would create a mental framework based on society's views on the ideal hope, and start to develop a weird view of it, while also hoping to find structure with his Tertiary Ti in his messy life. Rather, it was a "stress" situation triggered by his discovery of new truths that contradicted his subjective point of view, his personal beliefs, you could say his own "moral model" he used to comprehend reality (hope is so f-ing awesome vs despair sucks). I noticed that Komaeda does this too, so that's why we often see him coming out to share his hope ideals to the others passionately and then disappearing to somewhere quiet to think and process. His openness and weird optimism about things just "working out" in his favor is integral to his character and how his character operates in the world of Danganronpa. I think you couldmaybe make an INFJ argument basedonly on Ultra Despair Girls. But no matter which way you type it - function or letter - he's an NFP. I was quite confused while playing the game but the OVA makes much more sense. He's a dangerously intelligent person, but he's not a mastermind. a the Japanese media, society, culture etc. But the closer we get to him, the more it becomes obvious he's not a FJ. he also doesnt really care much about teruteru's dreams, he cares about the hope that stems from that, but it didnt really matter to him as soon as the rest of the group proved to have stronger hope than teruteru. and nagito komaeda shows a shit ton of unhealthy Ni. Also I simply don't see him as a J-type. Jung also proposed that in a person one of the four functions above is dominant – either a function of perception or a function of judging.. Even if not directly tested, public voting can provide good accuracy regarding Nagito Komaeda Myers-Briggs and personality type!. Well I guess we have to keep note that the only time komaeda shows his true self was probably when he was alone with Izuru and when you take on his perspective. INFPs, like most introverts, are quiet and reserved. They prefer not to talk about themselves.. Pretty sure he uses Fe. so INFJ makes a lot more sense. whether he uses Fe or Fi is of secondary importantace. He was values > compassion and internal values > external values (the group). He is truly an Fi user, with all that stubborn personal values of his. when i go by function stacks, though, i go by first and foremost, the dominant function.
